Another Successful CHAS Audit

Following a successful audit we have be re-certified by CHAS as a company with robust methods of managing Health & Safety within all of our busines activities.

WHAT IS CHAS?

CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is an accreditation scheme for the construction industry, clients will often require CHAS registration as a compulsory element before they will allow you to tender for their work, and this is being seen more often in the public procurements such as for councils, schools and other public sector bodies.

The purpose of CHAS is to help both buyers and suppliers in the assessment of a company's health and safety competence; Helping buyers to have confidence in the supplier and not having to assess contractors health and safety standards on an individual basis.  Helping suppliers (contractors) by reducing the time consuming process on completing and submitting full details of health and safety processes on each project they compete for.
